Call for Public Members – Committee Opportunities

The Nova Scotia Occupational Therapy Regulator is currently seeking public representatives to serve on its regulatory committees. These committees support the Regulator’s public protection mandate and contribute to the delivery of safe, competent and ethical occupational therapy practice for Nova Scotians. 

Opportunities are available on the following committees: 

  • Registration and Licensing Committee 
  • Registration and Licensing Review Committee 
  • Practice Review Committee 
  • Reinstatement Committee 
  • Professional Conduct Committee 

The majority of meetings are held virtually, but in-person meetings may also be held. Terms vary per Committee and range from 1-2 years, that can be renewed. Committee members receive an honorarium for their participation and reimbursement for expenses occurred which may include approved travel and meals.

Meetings are typically held in the evenings but may occur during the day on a day and time that suits all committee members.
